Gloria says

Look, when Page Six speaks, you listen.

A reporter from the New York Post's Page Six asked Gloria James if her son, Cavaliers forward LeBron James, was going to be a member of the New York Knicks next year. Gloria didn't mince her words.

"He's a hometown boy," she said.

That might have been the strongest comment yet on whether LeBron is going to re-sign with the Cavaliers next summer. He is expected to opt out of his deal after the 2009-10 season and become an unrestricted free agent.

But many observers now think he's going to re-sign with the Cavs, who appear to be heading toward another 60-win season this year.

LeBron and his mom were in New York to promote his new book, "Shooting Stars."
