NBA draft combine participants

A who's who of college standouts will converge on Chicago this week for the annual NBA draft combine where players will work out, be tested, measured and interviewed.

The media interviews are Thursday and Friday at the downtown Marriott. I'll be on hand for the interviews and provide stories each day on what the Cavs might do with their Nos. 4 and 24 picks in the first round.

I'll get to meet, interview and shoot video of the top prospects, as well as the Ohio State players Jared Sullinger and William Buford. I'll also keep my ears open for any juicy rumors floating around about the Cavs and their intentions for the draft and free agency.

It's also a great place to network with the national media on hand.

NBA Finals schedule

We don't know who'll be playing in the NBA Finals just yet, but we do know what days they'll be. Both conference finals are shaping up to be great series. Miami still has the upper hand in the Eastern Conference, but the Celtics won't go down easy.

The Celtics know this is their last go-around with this group, namely the Big Three. They are going to fight the Heat to the last second of the last game.

It's 2-2 now in the Western Conference. The last two games were the first losses by the Spurs in the playoffs. No one probably expected Thunder power forward Serge Ibaka shooting 6 of 6 from the field in Game 4.
