Cavs meet with LeBron's agent
The Cavaliers were one of four teams that met with LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul, according to several reports. The others were Dallas, Phoenix and Houston. The Los Angeles Lakers were next in line to make their pitch.
ESPN reported that the Cavs' contingent met with Paul and tried to sell them on the team's virtues. The Cavs' young talent that would fit in nicely around James. With him on the team, they would be a contender.
It's not known whether Cavs majority owner Dan Gilbert was part of the team's contingent that met with Paul.

James has yet to meet any team face-to-face. He's been on vacation. He could conceivably meet with possible suitors in the next round of talks. Those finalists have yet to be named.
He played seven years in Cleveland before leaving in 2010. The Cavs have hit rock bottom since he left.
When James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh opted out of their contracts with Miami on July 1, it appeared as if they would all return to the Heat. That doesn't seem to be a lock any longer. The fact that his agent is talking to other teams could mean James is at least entertaining the thought of leaving.
