Game 31: Magic at Cavs

ORLANDO MAGIC (20-12) 110, CAVS (8-23) 95
at Quicken Loans Arena
RADIO/TV: WTAM/Fox Sports Ohio

WHAT HAPPENED: The Magic totally reshaped their team on Dec. 18 with two trades with Washington and Phoenix. One of their new players, showed his value on Tuesday.

Guard Gilbert Arenas led all scorers with 22 points and 11 assists to power the Magic.

The Cavs played inspired basketball for much of the night. They trailed by just one point, 75-74, after three quarters.

Then the Magic started doing what they do best: Make 3-point goals. They made 7 of 10 from behind the arc in the fourth quarter. For the game, they were 19 of 31 from the 3-point line. It was the most 3-pointers the Cavs have ever given up since their inception in 1970.

But that's kind of abuse has been going on all season. They are last in the NBA in 3-point percentage. Coming into the game, their opponents were shooting 41.1 percent.
